We are seeking a Commercial Loan Administrator. Reporting to the Director, Asset Management (Loan Administration), the Commercial Loan Administrator will prepare, assist, generate and track escrow and reporting requirements of a portfolio of commercial real estate loans. Responsibilities include the preparing and transmitting relevant monthly and/or quarterly loan reporting documents, processing all monthly loan draws and advance requests, tracking receipt of funds and remaining available balances, responding to questions or additional requests from lenders related to draw packages, generating related inter-departmental correspondence, providing associated clerical and loan processing support, preparing and processing all collateral documentation and providing assistance to Asset Management, Accounting and Treasury personnel.
Responsibilities / Duties:
Obtain monthly reimbursable property expense information from property accountants and supporting backup and review and confirm with asset manager appropriateness of and category associated with expenditure.
Prepare monthly lender draw request packages associated with commercial real estate loans, with full understanding of loan terms and structure.
Prepare documentation required by lender for execution by CIO prior to submittal to lender and forward to Treasury for submittal to lender for funding.
Track monthly reserve submittals, communicate with and/or respond to any questions from lender associated with submittal.
Track receipt of funds from lender and maintain accurate remaining balances available in escrow.
Track and ensure submittal of monthly, quarterly and annual loan financial reporting and compliance documentation.
BA or BS Degree or equivalent experience
2-5 years of recent commercial loan processing experience;
Solid understanding of commercial real estate loan terms with a preference of prior commercial office experience.
Proficient written and oral communication skills;
Proficient interpersonal skills involving the ability to build high levels of trust, with diplomacy, courtesy and tact;
Proficient organizational and multi-tasking skills and ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner;
Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products;
Solid mathematical acumen;
Experience in Yardi accounting system a plus.
