Position Info

The Corporate Treasurer -- reports to the CFO and is responsible for bank relationships, all treasury and cash management operations, treasury technology and corporate liquidity. Manages high volumes of day to day cash and treasury activities with a wide variety of banks and large number of bank accounts, investment of short-term cash surplus in low risk liquidity instruments and/or sweeps. 

Essential Functions:

  • Manage and expand the capacities of a treasury management system (Kyriba)
  • Control daily cash balances over numerous banking relationships and accounts
  • Develop a plan to minimize working capital balances, then distribute or invest excess balances
  • Create and facilitate cash deposit investment strategies
  • Ensure best practice controls over the release of all electronic payments
  • Direct development and revision of treasury-related policy, procedures and operations
  • Ensure Bridge’s policies and procedures comply with state and federal law
  • Carry out risk management activities with respect to cash preservation and treasury operations
  • Build, develop and manage team of treasury professionals
  • Chair the company ALCO committee
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and other senior leaders within Bridge and with our lender relationships
  • Perform operational duties as needed (wires, ACH, book transfers, spot FX, compliance, fraud research, approval of wire templates)

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate treasury management
  • CTP or CPA or preferred
  • Proven working knowledge of treasury and banking industry rules and regulations
  • Solid understanding of treasury, corporate finance, and accounting concepts
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills is a must
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents
  • Working knowledge of the debt agreements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to distill and present information to a board of directors
  • Exceptional analytical ability and judgement
