Position Info

As Associate, Investor Services you will report directly to the Vice President, Investor Services and be responsible for the detailed review of investor documentation, perform investor outreach, and analyze investor information as part of our investor account maintenance processes.

 

Key responsibilities of the Investor Services Associate:

  • Work closely with investors, the Company’s fund administrator, custodians and financial advisors to ensure successful processing of existing investor paperwork
  • Conduct detailed reviews, track status, and update investor files for all account updates
  • Work directly with investors and investment advisors to collect documentation and remediate any deficient or missing documentation required to process the account update
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure all Tax, AML/KYC, Legal and Compliance requirements are met and procedures are followed
  • Deliver high quality service to investors and internal partners by providing timely and professional responses to inquiries
  • Proactively follow-up with all parties involved in the account update process
  • Assist with other investor onboarding processes as time allows, including but not limited to data entry, document reviews, and closing procedures
  • Ensure compliance with all established SOC controls and implement new controls related to data security and data integrity within area of responsibility

 

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years’ experience in investor services, investor relations, client onboarding or a related field (private equity, wealth management, financial services, fund administration, or in a legal capacity working with corporate transactions)
  • Understanding of corporate entity structures strongly preferred (Corp, LLC, Foundation) and estate planning/retirement vehicles structures (Trust, IRA, 401k)
  • Must be proactive and possess solid follow-up skills with an ability to track aged or long term tasks
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce and other CRM platforms is preferred
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Solid client relationship management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
