Position Info

As an Acquisition & Development Analyst, you will assist our development team with acquisitions and disopositions for our growing portfolio of investments across the United States. The Acquisition & Development Analyst will be responsible for effectively analyzing performance and value of a portfolio of geographically defined assets. Additional duties include:

  • Actively assist in implementing plans to maximize income, improve cash flow, and increase long term asset value.
  • Accurately analyze income and expense projections, as well as capital requirements and report to the senior asset managers and/or senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with portfolio managers
  • Frequently travel to our property sites and identify/implement improvements which will increase asset value.
  • Efficiently manage post-closing process for acquisition/disposition properties.
  • Professionally interact with Bridge-IGP Senior Executives and other management members.
  • Continually develop your understanding of the market related to the portfolio, current and future trends.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance (or related field) OR 2-year associates degree and CCIM designation
  • 1-2 years' experience in acquisitions, real estate preferred (internships acceptable)
  • Demonstrated financial modeling skills
  • Advanced MS Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid understanding of cash flow statement preparation and property level activities such as replacement reserves, capital expenditures and other non-operating cash flow items such as lender reserves etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive management
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively and a creatively solve problems
  • Appropriate experience creating and managing excel spreadsheets
  • An intuitive sense to navigate the dynamic of each asset
  • Commitment to developing your understanding of the market related to the portfolio
  • Yardi experience preferred
